Mazatlán inaugurates the Friendship Tournament 2026 with 28 veteran teams from across the country. The event took place at the Club Deportivo Muralla fields, where dozens of teams gathered in a sports-friendly and camaraderie atmosphere. The tournament president, Gregorio Ayón, gave the welcome speech and thanked the visiting teams. During the inaugural ceremony, three figures from Sinaloa's First Force football were honored for their career in the sport. Additionally, a special recognition was given to Gregorio Ayón for his six years leading the organization of this tournament. The Friendship Football Tournament 2026 will take place from February 18 to 22 at the Club Deportivo Muralla fields. In the 60+ category, teams such as Chihuahua FC, Elota, Reynosa, Clínica Dental Cásarez de Hermosillo, Dorados de Chihuahua, Angostura, Dinos Magisterio de Ciudad Obregón, Coras, Misioneros de Ciudad Juárez, Escuinapa-Mazatlán, Naranjeros de Río Verde, and Barrios Unidos de Monterrey will participate. In the 65+ category, teams such as Chihuahua FC, Culiacán, Coras de Tepic, Ciudad Obregón, Misioneros de Ciudad Juárez, Rancho El Alazán, and Puerto Valla will compete.
